HELPING OTHERS

WITH FCC ROCHESTER

FOOD PANTRY

The Helping Hand food pantry, located in the lower level of First Congregational Church, provides food to families living in Rochester, Rochester Hills, Oakland Twp., Auburn Hills and Addison Twp.

CALLED TO CARE

Called to Care is a one-to-one confidential Christian caregiving ministry where trained lay-persons help meet the needs of the community.

NIMBLE NEEDLES

Nimble Needles is a group of ladies who meet every Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. They make quilts, banners, and paraments for church, and help groups with different sewing projects. We welcome anyone who has an interest in sewing. Even if you don’t sew, we would love to have you come and enjoy the fellowship with us. We might put you to work.

WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP GENERAL PROGRAMMING

The Women’s Fellowship group coordinates the spring and fall rummage sales and plans an annual retreat for all of the women of the church. They support a variety of ministries within the church and keep the kitchen stocked. Some years there are dinners and events with speakers that involve many of
our ladies. This group oversees the coordination of Church World Serivce collectons, including items for school kits, health kits, layettes, and more!
